Mike is a cool guy! He is very customer service oriented & friendly & will make you feel welcome at this hotel, which is neat & clean!, the parking lot is clean. Mike informed us that we were less than 1 hour from beautiful Sedona, AZ, so the next day we drove the scenic route to see it, since we had not been before. My husband & I were very happy about our 1 night stay, stop over, heading to CA. So quiet, didn't hear anyone. I don't get why there are negative reviews on this place?? Looks like it was newly renovated and was able to book on hotels.com under $50.00 2 nights in advance. Mike, the manager was amazing super helpful. We will definitely return again next time I’m in town to hit up snowball. Great place if you’re just driving up to sleep passing through town or heading up the mountain.

Because the heater was making the room very hot and the plastic cover under the bedsheet was making the bed hot. Felt like sleeping on a desert sand. The pillow covers were polyester so it trapped the heat. Stayed two nights here. Overall ok condition and good location for price and friendly staff. Downsides: Towels were smelly which I didn't want to use, and there was no hair dryer.
Met expectations. Owner was very friendly.
