Booked a room on hotel.com for the wrong night and they had MANY rooms. They made us cancel our booking than just pay there for the night. He told hotels.com he would give us the same rate. He charged us $13 more. Bed was comfortable. Sheets had burn marks, bath tub black mold and scratched up with black mold on ceiling. The door locked with great difficulty. There is way too many things that are wrong with this hotel.
Absolutely DISGUSTING!!! As soon as we entered our room, we were met with an overwhelming number of crickets crawling all over. Despite booking online, there was no mention of this issue during the reservation process. Only upon arrival did we see a sign at check-in stating it was cricket season and that no refunds would be issued. To make matters worse, when I called to address the issue, the first person I spoke to, Holla, yelled and hung up on me. Clean Rooms, good and decent breakfast for on the go. Also, the property was really quiet with lots of lights and cameras. Felt safe with heavy equipment in truck. I recommended to everyone passing through Vernon. Definitely cheaper than the big names in town!
