I was invited down for a birthday barbecue on 7/27/2025 and stayed here at this hotel......The doors is not secure enough for me and I put a table and a chair up against the door..... Woke up about 4:4 0 a.m. to find a big Spider down on the floor by my bed... I took a shower got dressed and left at 5:05 a.m and travel back home 2 hours..no no no.... We went to Cuero Texas to Visit my husband for “Día de los Muertos” a very sacred holiday for us. Upon arriving to Hotel Texas we were overcharged for our room as the website clearly showed that there going rate was $45 & $55 per room. As I was getting ready to tell the front desk representative we were going to go elsewhere, he immediately charged my daughters CC and well we had no other option but to stay here.
