While the location of the Steyne is excellent, there is nothing relaxing about this place. Loud DJ music until 3am immediately adjacent to the hotel rooms. The walls of our room were vibrating with the bass, it genuinely felt like trying to sleep in a nightclub. Ear plugs were no match unfortunately. Would have appreciated some warning about this when booking/on the website. Wouldn’t recommend, unless you can operate on less than 3 hours sleep
I booked this hotel with the confirmed request from staff over the phone and I didn’t get what I requested! No cleaning of room, broken air conditioning and flooding. Wrong room and too much garbage was never cleaned! It was so disappointing and even with breakfast, I couldn’t get a cappuccino to be replaced without breakfast . I didn’t even get a discount for all the trouble I had too!!!
Stopped by and are at one of the restaurants. We had the chicken schnitzel and the tuna salad. It's both where generous servings and very yummy.
The place was well shown snd was a nice ambient but when I ordered the food the photos shown on the website were very good and looked delicious but when It came to the time of eating the stake, It had a weird taste and looked a little decomposed and the flavour was very differently, I asked two waiters and they made it seem as if they couldn’t care about our comment. The place was nice and they gave my full a whole bowl of chips due to the fact that we didn’t eat the chips from the plate which I really liked.
Best view in Manly , but the Women’s toilets were very dirty, needs painting, cleaning ,not nice .
