Absolutely wonderful vibe. Love the saltwater pool. Cute place to stay. Try the oatmeal bar it's actually fun.
They have done an amazing job with the remodel of an older hotel by incorporating local artists and microbrewers to show their love and support for their community. The rooms are as boutique style as it gets and there is even an arcade room for some of yesteryear's nostalgia! Easy highway access to both I-10 and I-19 also.
This is our third visit to Hotel McCoy and probably our last. Our bedding was stained (top and bottom sheets) and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. The most serious issue is that their water only runs hot. There was no cold water. They said to let it run until cold. I ran the tub 5 minutes and just got blazing hot water. There is no microwave so we had to eat our leftovers cold. The electrical outlet is located under a table which is fastened to the wall.
