Small town guy here, so when I called because I got lost after passing the hotel up 😂 the front desk guy (William I believe) stayed on the phone with me giving me directions until I got to the parking garage! He definitely went above and beyond for us. We stayed one night and thought the place was beautiful, there is a beautiful water fountain in the main courtyard, the rooms was a little smaller than I expected but wasn’t a problem for us at all! Comfy bed and a nice shower! The layout of the building is very unique and c... read more
We booked one of the suites here as a getting ready location for myself and my wedding party. The suite is perfect for getting ready for bridal party, lots of natural light, multiple big mirrors, full kitchen, balcony with view of Bienville and bourbon, beautiful courtyard for photos. The music from bourbon was very loud, which added to the ambience of the day. There security in the lobby after dark so we felt very safe.
The hotel was in a convenient place for everything in the French Quarter, which was fantastic. We were able to leave our car parked and walk everywhere. The location was one block from Bourbon Street which made it quieter but expect some noise during the night. The room was quaint and equipped for just spending the night. Great place to stay! Centrally located and we walked to everything. We loved sneaking into the 21st Amendment, you'll see! We stopped by Patrick's on our last night and it was wonderful! The petit kings on the second floor are quiet which is where we stayed. I do recommend a room 222 and higher.
Excellent Staff. Good location reasonably off Bourbon street noise. Restaurant breakfast is quite limiting. No free lobby coffee. Bar is nice looking, but just OK drinks. Rooms are perfectly fine, could use minor updating in some areas, But are super comfortable. If you want to stay in the Quarter and don't want the crazy noise from Bourbon street at night > this is a great choice. Again, you'll love the staff.
