Clean room and nice bathroom. Good ambience - digital controls of lighting, room temp, and window shades. Had small fridge too. FREE PARKING. And the brunch is FANTASTIC!!!
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hotel Marcel. We were visiting New Haven from nearby Fairfield County and after the quick trip up we weee happy to see the expansive Tesla super chargers in their parking lot. The staff was extremely welcoming and the service was top notch. When we got a welcoming text, I assumed it was a bot. Bed Bugs!!!!!!!!! Checked into the hotel on July 15th - they gave us room 713- 7th floor. We put our bags down while checked for bed bugs under the linens like I always do. Saw something and quietly notified the hotel and checked out. The hospitality and hotel manager assured us that it is not bed bugs, and they did immediately send in a national company to investigate. Update: I hired my own bed bug expert to do an evaluation of the evidence I had and he said that there was definitely bed bugs in that hotel, although it doe... read more
