I enjoyed my stay and the food was great.
This is a never return hotel in my book. The first mission of a hotel isn’t fancy art or modern architecture — it is getting A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP!! And the most important thing to good sleep is a comfortable room. The thermostat was computer locked at 67 degrees. A visit from engineering when I complained produced an apology, an assurance that is was a “cool 67” and a stylish table fan the size of a salad plate. Sometimes you need to travel for less than ideal reasons. I spent two nights at Hotel Marcel for a long, arduous round of intake appointments at Yale for a kidney transplant. I was stressed and from the first contact with the hotel until I checked out they were fantastic. Jaylin (sorry if I spelled this wrong!) and Brian were absolute angels helping me with anything I needed during this intense couple of days.
