I had planned my engagement on Block Island and the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate my every needs. Faye was wonderful to deal with, very responsive, and personable. She was able to connect me with a local florist for a beautiful arrangement, and other local amenities. I highly recommend a stay here if you are considering a trip to block Island. Apps were great. Dinners were uninspiring. $600 for a six person dinner (multiple rounds of cocktails) and being charged for extra olives was infuriating. I can’t seem to respond to the response, so I’ll edit here. Talk about inaccurate. My dog which laid under my chair the entire time? Who absolutely did not have an accident in the restaurant. Happy to have the five others at the dinner provide the same commentary and the same review (1 star) to substantiate. Also - the olive charge was noted on the bar cocktail menu. Which... read more

This place is a gem! The hotel and grounds are so lovely! The rooms are quiet and the beds are so comfortable. The staff are welcoming and kind. The hotel is a two minute walk to town. And a mile bike ride to the light house. I have stayed everywhere on BI. This was by far my favorite. ❤️
