Wifi didn't work. Main entrance looked nice but heading to your room it looked dated and dark. Some outside doors were inop. Public bathrooms near the restaurant were also inop. The exterior of the place needed grounds care.
The hotel smell funny, there was kids yelling in the hallway the location was convenient because it's right next to a gas station, deposit req ref 7-21 days
Don’t normally write reviews. This place was perfect for us. With 2 autistic children under 8 they loved the arcade area. It wasn’t too loud. There was an awesome unexpected inflatable. The pool area is gated and protected. Beds comfortable. Rooms clean. Bathroom designs look very modern. Quality toilet paper. There was a coke machine not working that I noticed if I had to mention something bad. Didn’t want a coke anyways. Basically flawless experience.
So disappointed as I’ve been wanting to stay here when I’m in Lexington for work. I’m a traveling sales rep and try to give my business to locally owned business instead of chains. I read the positive and negative reviews online and decided to ignore the negative and give this place a shot! Online, Hotel LEX is portrayed as a clean, modern, upbeat hotel.
