We drove 8hrs and 15mins. When booking the hotel, I was informed by them that if we paid the hotel directly for our parking it would be $50 total for both nights for in/out privileges. We were also told that breakfast was $10 per person so I prepaid for it when I booked. Once we arrived, we checked in, I paid for a city view which was nice. The room itself was decent. This hotel is not bad at all but beware of fraudulent action at the front desk they had tried to charge over 500$ to my credit card I gave them so I don’t recommend anyone staying here.
Just save yourself the overpriced headache and don’t stay here. For $140+ a night you won’t get a fridge in your room, or an ice machine on your floor that work. If you have multiple bags good luck unloading with no dolly available, the employees park in the loading only zone in front of the hotel what is about 3 spots. I have to go find parking to pay for 2 blocks away so they should probably remove that as a provided amenity. No there is not breakfast provided and the staff will be rude and unhelpful.
Downtown stl is a bit abandoned and run down. But the hotel itself was nice.
The area was desolate and wasn’t a nice neighborhood. The service was ok and they pulled the fire alarm during the tornado warning so that was fun. They gave us a room that first had a smaller bed then we asked for and could barely fit us. The thermostat didn’t work. The blinds also didn’t work. The bathroom was ok and the shower had weird white speckles and little pieces of stuff in it. Our room wasn’t cleaned.
