We were in room 201. The only thing I would say is poor lighting outside the door. Otherwise, very clean needs bathrooms were super clean

The location is convenient to Fairfield University and the downtown area. About a 10 minute drive. The room looks as expected given it's a motel style facility. However, due to the condition of the room (dust? mold?) I had a severe allergic reaction to the room after sleeping one night and had to abandon our weekend because I was unable to stay a second night. If you are sensitive to dust or mold allergies, do not stay here! The best thing this place has going for it is the wine bar in the basement of the building.

Pay the extra money for a more user-friendly hotel. When I arrived to check-in to the two queen bed suite (Room 308) that I had reserved, my door code didn’t work. I had called previously to confirm my late arrival, so there would not be a problem. I had to call the no-contact style help desk for assistance. I was standing outside on the back side of the hotel in the pitch dark. Booked this room to attend a conference. My wife was emergency hospitalized two days before the event. Canceled and asked for a full or partial refund and was told there is a no-refund policy with no exceptions. Very unfortunate and not customer friendly.
