We had reservations. We got there about 15 mins early, the hostess said we could come in early and that itd be about 5 mins. 20 mins later we were still sitting at the bar waiting. They went to seat us and tried to give us a table n chairs when we had requested a booth. Went to order and they no longer served what we came in to eat. Ay that point, we had given up on the place. The hotel called the night of checkin to tell me my room was changed to a smaller one than I booked. Only offered a $50 credit which I NEVER received. I emailed them with NO RESPONSE. Be careful because it's right next to a train line so it's VERY LOUD at night when the train comes by daily. Only plus is the location and the restaurant Red Herring. Management should respond to emails and CREDIT as they stated they would. Poor service.

My husband and I were so excited to return to Hotel Herringbone for a 2 day trip just the two of us. We stayed here summer 2025 and had a great time. It looks like the hotel has really gone downhill in the last year. We checked in and contacted the front desk almost immediately about the lights by the bed that would not come on, the overhead light in the bathroom that would flicker for a second but stayed off, and the noise from the room above us. I can't believe how awesome this place is, and how close to Dr pepper museum (on the same block). All the room's drinks and snacks are free. The rooms are so eclectic and unique. If I come back to Waco, I'll stay here.
