I had an agreemet to stay for an extended time at this hotel. After three days I learned to my dismay that they would need my room for a so-called special needs person. I later learned that this need was no greater than my own. I don't think that any guest expects their agreement to be voided for no good reason except for the convenience of another peron. We have stayed here on our anniversary for the last few years. We love it. The staff is always helpful. The place feels like home away from home. The city is small and quaint and the people are nice. The food at Bogey's rocks and the Hotel owners are super nice....Great out of the way place to stay!!!

Hotel DeFuniak is a small gem of a hotel. If you're looking for a nice comfortable place to stay, you've found it.

I don't know where the person below actually stayed...but they must have gotten a mix up of some sort..The Hotel DeFuniak is a very prestigous place to stay just for overnight or either an extended stay.It is a beautiful place to relax and everyone there makes you feel right at home.I loved it and I still continue to go there ...just because!

This isn't a very nice motel. I definitely wouldn't stay here and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone else. Your better off looking around for something else.
