We didn't get to experience everything in the hotel as we stayed here after the main season.
This old majestic hotel is coming back to life. Renovations.are happening to restore its splendour. Didnt stay and meals are not yet available but we had some coldies while admiring the huge bar, stained glass windows and decor from another time. Our lovely hostess was full of smiles and poured a mean ××××bitter. Will be great to return when completed.
Fantastic grand old pub. Built in 1929 by Harry Cornes, a Greek imigrant who showed up in Sydney with a suitcase and no English, it's been restored yo as close yo original as they can get and is heritage listed. Largest bar top in the southern hemisphere... since the one Muldura was divided up, and great friendly service. They have a restaurant but it only opens through autumn, winter and spring, so is currently closed. Went for cold beer on a very hot day. This pub, nearly 100yrs old is a classic country pub
