Lovely, well-appointed rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Location is the BEST in SLO. We will be returning.
The hotel is beautifully done. The food at the restaurant is also delicious, however, much too salty. I have two complaints, one that is not acceptable, in my opinion. First, the brunette woman that works the front desk is a snotty, rude woman. I love supporting other women, but some people are just awful humans. After hours of driving on the coast at night in the fog, exhausted and honestly terrified, the moment I got service I called Hotel Cerro and David was at our rescue! His kindness is absolutely refreshing and genuine and the kind of care you want to hear after such an intense drive! Very refreshing ambience, restaurant and hotel. Spa and pool are modest but good quality. Parking is very convenient.
If there were an Olympic event for making espresso martinis, Kaylynn would not only win the gold medal—she would probably set a world record in the process. I have had espresso martinis at upscale cocktail bars, trendy restaurants, and countless social gatherings, but nothing compares to what Kaylynn creates behind the bar.
