Jen, Brittan & the whole team at Hotel Cerro went above and beyond to make our experience lovely at every turn. The room: We had a king room facing the garden. There are multiple comfortable places to sit - from a desk to lounge chairs to a bench in the entryway. The balcony was the perfect spot for journaling in the morning, and we left the door open for fresh air in the evenings. We came here for a one-night stop on our Pacific highway family road trip. Perfect location - It was Thursday night with the SLO farmer's market on Higuera st just a few steps away from the hotel. We self-parked in Marsh st, about 5 min walk from the hotel. The hotel suite is beautiful. And breakfast was the best we've had in California.

My husband an I stayed one night to visit family. We requested a quiet room since we are light sleepers.We checked in late and the front desk staff was preoccupied talking about shows with a co-worker and made us wait. The room on the pool floor was very small, but new and we were excited just to sleep. At 9pm, we could hear the bar on the street getting louder, but we closed all the windows, curtains and turned on some white noise. I've had meals and drinks on the rooftop of Cerro and was looking forward to doing so again. Sadly, I was told today at the 1st floor desk that only guests of the hotel could imbibe there so I left and spent my money elsewhere. Shame.
