We absolutely love staying at this fabulous downtown San Luis Obispo hotel and have returned 14 times—which really says it all. Every visit has been consistently exceptional, and we truly have zero complaints. General Manager Matt Wright and his team do an amazing job creating a welcoming, comfortable, and first-class experience from check-in to check-out. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay in SLO at Hotel Cerro. Beautiful place with excellent team throughout the hotel! Great location for walking downtown and short drive to nearby hiking.
Great location the room was "unique" it was beautiful but I felt like I was walking into the bathroom. Not a typical hotel layout, but not horrible, just took getting used to and threw me off. It was also really loud in our room at night. We were on the side where all the pubs were so up until 1am it was pretty loud. The hotel was full so I put my ear plugs in and fell asleep. Every interaction I have had with a Hotel Cerro employee has been nothing but positive. Zach and Cameron at valet were especially kind.
We had an awesome 4 night stay. Hotel staff was wonderful, restaurant staff was wonderful. Marco at Valet was an absolute standout - really made our stay exceptional. He was personable, helpful and thoughtful. EV charging on site is a game changer. Will stay here again without hesitation.
