Wont be going back. Went there for mothers day lunch with girlfriend (50 and 60 yo) May 2026. Friend booked the table for 12 midday Just as we finish the meal (not quick service) and just before 1pm we got booted off the table. I thought we'd done something wrong! Not ask if we wanted dessert or coffee even. I said to my friend - 'when you booked were you told there was another sitting at 1pm'? 'No' was her answer. I looked around the dining room in shock. We were staying in our van at the showgrounds up the road. There is a free camp across the road from the pub. Great to meet Caroline & her family, they had just taken over the pub 3 weeks ago. Had a lovely dinner in the dining room. Caroline has an awesome vision for the property and has already made some improvements to the accommodation. Looking forward to visiting again soon for some lovely country hospitality.

Cold beer and good grub
Such a great local pub with that proper Aussie vibe, not trying to be fancy or modern, just good old-school and welcoming. The food is solid, portions are generous, and the gravy is next level, honestly could drink it. Staff are friendly, atmosphere is relaxed, and it just feels like the kind of pub you want to keep coming back to. Definitely a winner
