We used to order pizza carry out from this restaurant a lot. In the last six months every time we order a pizza from here it is made wrong, it is undercooked. And it is terrible. I no longer recommend this restaurant at all. They need to get it together. A medium, a large, and an order of bread breadsticks was $64. And it was terrible.
Hotbox pizza is a very mediocre pizza at an above average price. There isn't anything necessarily bad about it, but the crust is so plain, sauce of average taste but seems high in sodium, and toppings that are just alright. It's like a step above little caesars, but near the cost of higher quality pizzas like greek's or jet's. If they lowered the price by ~25% and retained current quality, they could make a case for being a great pizza for parties/groups.
Look the food is just fine, breadsticks are amazing. Waiting 2 hours, 2 phone calls later, and a cold pizza and stix delivered is unacceptable. I mean come one, not even an apology like you are doing us a favor. Terrible service going back a long time. Shame the staff and food cannot get on the same page.
Excellent Customer Service and Friendly Customer Service
We ordered our pizza at 11 am and pick up at 630pm. It was the night of the Indiana game ....when we showed up to pick up the pizza it wasn't ready. They served everyone else before us even those that came in and orders on the spot. I asked to talk to the manager and he got lippy with me and was like are you yelling when the team is working as hard as possible.
