Marah is such a phenomenal instructor and I love the classes so much. She makes it easy to follow but really makes sure you understand what you’re supposed to be getting out of each pose and shows you how to succeed.
Starting Hot Yoga with Marah a few months ago, while also starting to work through some long faught personal issues, was a perfect combination. The yoga allows me to to focus away from what is going on in my head and gives me a break to allow my body and mind to heal and rejuvenate. This practice is life changing for the body and the mind. I have also found that Marah's teaching, cadence of her voice, instruction and lessons have helped me progress in my practice far beyond what I thought was possible. Wow, just wow. I work seated behind a desk all day, and this is the ONLY thing that cures my aches/pains!! Marah is beyond knowledgeable and guides you through the practice with ease. Almost 3 years later and I learn something new about myself and my practice each and every class. This studio is magical. Highly recommend!
It was nice to experience a true Bikram studio once again. I have been to the so-called 26/2 studios that are based on the Bikram class but most of those teachers haven’t been through the proper training. No doubt about the teacher’s training here. You will get an awesome workout and have the opportunity to challenge yourself to go beyond your perceived limits. Not easy to find in today’s yoga world.
I found this GEM while visiting my parents in Rochester. Marah is so warm, funny, and knowledgeable. As someone who’s just getting back into yoga, I was blown away by her teachings and down to earth personality. If you are in the Rochester area and want to practice or even just explore hot yoga, this studio is a must!! (The corner fire stove makes the studio even cozier).
