2 years after the review below, I have called Ameen for a service call. There were issues beyond his control and he fixed them with complete professionalism and did not over charge on anything. Thanks again Ameen. Everything Ameen has done for my household had been done to 100% There is no other company I would suggest using. He does not BS and explains everything.
Had a great experience with them, my tenants notified me of the furnace not heating the home adequately despite having set the thermostat to maximum. I called him on Sunday and gave me the option to look at it that same day, which would be an emergency (higher hourly rate) or, if the furnace is still working to give some heat, it can wait until the day after. After the furnace stopped working at my rental property on Christmas Eve , I had the dishonest people at Reliance tell me that I needed a whole new furnace installed for some ridiculous price. I don’t live in the same province as this property, and in the middle of winter over the holidays, my tenants with a young baby were desperate to get the heat back on. Had a great experience with this company. I hear too often that companies insist that a person needs a new furnace, when they really don't. These guys gave me an honest opinion and several options. Its obvious to me that they know a great deal about furnaces. Best service I could have hoped for.
I initially got a different furnace company that quoted me $4k (or almost $7k for a new furnace). I called Hot To Cold for a second opinion and they repaired it at half the price. I am very impressed with their punctuality, honesty, and workmanship. We will be using them for yearly check ups and highly recommend to friends and family.
