THE place for breakfast and lunch in Baton Rouge. I'm often in town for work and have yet to find a place that compares. The food is clearly homemade with love and the service is warm and quick. And the prices are unbeatable. A real gem in this city.
Quaint old fashioned atmosphere. Service was ok, but I had a carryout order. I had grits and a veggie omelette. Both looked good, but had no flavor at all.
Legitimately one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of visiting. Incredibly friendly, absolutely perfect food, reasonable prices. Could not recommend this place more, worth the visit no matter what.
Huge shoutout to The Hot Stuff Restaurant in Baton Rouge and my amazing hostess, Gerri! The food was absolutely delicious, the prices were spot on, and the entire staff made you feel right at home from the moment you walked in. That small-town, welcoming vibe is hard to find! Next time I’m staying in downtown Baton Rouge, this will definitely be my go-to spot. Highly recommend!
The staff was very hospitable and accommodating. We enjoyed the food and friendly staff. The service was great; so are the prices. We just wish we could have dinner there tonight.
