Was growing my hair out and needed it cleaned up for a formal event. Was told I was being taken care of by a professional and the results said otherwise. The back was visibly uneven. Thinning shears were used way too much and close to my scalp leaving short hairs sticking out the top. To top it off I noticed the other staff members pointing and laughing which before I got out of the chair and it was humiliating. Do not recommend
I had high hopes for my appointment, especially given how warm and welcoming the staff were. Unfortunately, my experience with the hair service was disappointing. As someone with kinky, textured hair, I felt there was a noticeable lack of experience and understanding of my hair type. My hair was also combed out dry and when the process became difficult, I noticed shear scissors were used extensively - despite clearly stating that I did not want my hair thinned.
