This shop is a ripoff and a joke. They kept my car for over a month and called me 4 times to tell me the car was ready and safe. The first time when I got in it to leave, the brake pedal went to the floor because the booster they put in it was faulty and they had not test driven it. The second time it blew a power steering hose off and caught my car on fire. Paul blames me but its convenient the line had been on the car for over a year with me loading it on trailers, moving it etc and never had a problem until they worked ... read more
These guys are awesome. They treat each car like it’s their own. Go out of their way, fair price, excellent product, always smiling and always do something extra without being asked! Highly highly recommended on both American and foreign brands like Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Datsun and others!
Business response:
Thank you Joe!
Worst customer service experience I have ever had with a repair shop, They need to learn how to treat a customer, how to talk to a customer, We had a couple of issues with our vehicle after we paid our multiple bills in full, they were so rude, subbed us out to another shop who rebuilt our transmission, to fix a transmission leak, which never got fixed, and wanted to keep our classic car outside for days, brought it back to Hot Rods since the contract I signed was with them, and they surprised me with a bill, for the repa... read more
Excellent hot rod shop with the best mechanic in the country!!
Great off the frame restoration of our '68 Chevy pick-up. Too many items to list, included dropping in a fuel injected 427 short block, put in new wood floor in bed, moving gas tank from behind seat to below bed in rear of truck, all body rust cut out and replaced with new metal with a beautiful new paint job, and new custom leather interior, to list a few.
Paul and company did an immaculate job on my 69 Corvette. Holley Fuel Injection, wiring, vintage air, Detroit speed electric head lights and many many more items. Thanks for catching things on the car that needed attention. Please reach out to Their shop for restoration or any other needs regarding your hot rods or classic car.
Beware of these crooks!!! Took my 65 mustang there to have the timing cover seal behind the harmonic balancer replaced. They said it would take 2 hours labor, and had me sign a paper saying I would pay my bill.A few days later they called and said I owe them for 14 hours. They said pay or we are keeping the car.I had to go get a loan to get the car back. These are not good people. They will rob you This is exactly what happened
Paul is the best in the business ! Honest and professional !
Called back in march and talked to the front desk about getting my 1971 F100 looked at and was told they would call me back in a few weeks. Never got that call, still trying to find a reliable shop to look at the truck.
