Even with a new 420hp engine, the car, with the old carbonation, just wasn't performing up to Hot Rod Garage standards. Maurice suggested upgrading to an Edlebrock Port Fuel Injection system. WOW what a difference!!! Makes my 58 year old Corvette have modern performance and modern drivability. Wish I would have done it sooner....and it looks pretty good, too. Now on to the '69 Camaro for same treatment.

This is Hot Rod Garage owner responding to the negative review from Mike K... Unfortunately this review is simply fraudulent and bogus…Mike K is well aware of it. I own Hot Rod Garage. We did in fact build an engine for Mike K about 2 years ago. He picked up his car and was more than pleased. I did not hear from Mike K for over 14 months. I have used the Hot Rod Garage ever since they opened several years ago. Always - ALWAYS - have received nothing but the best mechanical services from Maurice and his team. Maurice rebuilt my engine. 1003 miles later, the engine died with metal shavings throughout. Maurice had failed to install a cam thrust button, which created the engine failure. He would not commit to completely to flushing shavings from the engine or rebuilding the motor until I took it to someone else. Nor did he refund my money. The new engine builder tore it down and rebuilt it completely. It is still running beautifully. If I could give a 0 stars rating , I would.
Called Maurice as I was having issues and concerns on my Chevelle. Maurice said bring it in like now. Truly appreciate it . The garage was full and I’m sure backlogged. Maurice put Mike on the Chevelle and work was professionally completed before I made my first call to inquire. Two weeks was something I didn’t expect and will always be grateful. The car is now more reliable and safe. Am hoping to get the Chevelle back in for more upgrades but will need and hope I can get back in for all the work the shop has pending.
