Overpriced – I bought a great shirt at Hot Mama for $38 (regular women's clothing) and found the same shirt at a local store for $18! A manager at Hot Mama said they were aware of the other store having the same brands with a lot less mark up. The woman told me- next time, look at the other store first, then come to our store and buy something that they do not have. Wow. Now I know how overpriced this store is!! Other shirt sold for $18 at the other store- and $48 at Hot Mama!
Super stylish – I have always enjoyed Hot Mama, but after recently visiting the new space on 50th, I love it even more. Nice work, thanks for clothing this neighborhood girl. :)
Hot Mama in Edina - Favorite stop – After two children, I have visited Hot Mama in Edina several times in the last few years and made a few on-line purchases. I've always been pleased with their customer service and products - premium denim, funky and fun tops, great accessories. The knowledgeable staff always gives honest feedback, and they are very willing to give you one-on-one help with tougher purchases (like jeans!). You definitely get what you pay for. ?Snooty Boutique? ? to good to help customers who are normal – Women, please be prepared before you enter this posh boutique, unless you are a replica of one of the stars on the current circuit the boutique employees will not approach or even make eye contact with you. Clothes are cute, but with the economy who wants to spend $300 on a pair of jeans when a different store just as cute with better service down the road you can purchase for less than $100? Concept is cute but not worth it.
only hot if you're itty-bitty – If you're over a size 14 (the size of the average American woman), then there's nothing here for you. If I can only buy accessories from you, then I'm clearly not your target customer and I'll go somewhere else instead.
