I went to this store on Friday June 12, 2026 at 9:00pm. My husband and I stopped in at hot heads as it is one of our very favorites and we aren’t able to get it very often because we are from KY and only get it when we are traveling. Upon entering the store there were 2 staff members present - a male behind the counter and a female cleaning tables. I graduated from Wilmington College in 2012 and was back in town to golf. Finished the round and went to hotheads. Spent $33 on two bowls and a drink. Upon eating the first bowl in the car, I picked out what I thought was a bean at first but it ended up being a dead fly, legs and everything covered in spicy sauce. Absolutely disgusting and ruined the meal. Should have taken a pic but didn’t think about it then.
