I loved the atmosphere, service..always a smile..and the food..the best! Well worth it!
You need to try the chowchilla sandwich! Tritip and hotlinks between two slices of toasted bread? Yessssss. Also, their cornbread is to die for!

This was outstanding bbq!! My husband and I are from Alabama and know good bbq when we taste it and this was great. We had ribs and chicken. They were pulled off the smoker as we ordered them. The bbq sauce was perfectly carmelized also. Great potato salad. We're going back!!
We come down from San Francisco to eat at Hot City when we get hungry for BBQ. We have tried most of the local places and we just can't find anything comparable. The food is so fresh and the ribs are just out of this world. We recommend Hot City to anyone who loves BBQ.
I had to go to Los Banos for Thanksgiving and that night I wondered around the town and stumbled upon this place called Hot City BBQ. Being from Texas we I love good BBQ and I thought to myself, ok, its going to be "so so " since its in a small town but boy was I wrong. I ended up eating there three times in three days and could not get enough of this food.
