Be very careful! Not only I have had billing issues of over charged and being pushed to upgrade my plan, receiving multiple different answers from each representative that replied back (different name each time), but they also market themselves as a “Canadian” company (maybe it was way back) but their pushy sales people, managers, and others are all over the world - including Pakistan and other nations. You are NOT dealing with a Canadian company…
As a newbie looking to set up an online business presence, starting with a URL, HostPapa has been a great choice. It was recommended to me and didn't disappoint. They are very flexible, offering tiered payment options (tip - go for the least cost monthly option first, and then move up when you're 100% sure). I got into a mess and they were prompt and helpful in sorting it out. Now that I have my URL I will take advantage of the add-on services they offer.
I've had nothing but good experiences with registering my website and the web hosting provided by this company. They are very helpful if you have any issues and they are very quick to respond.
I have 2 websites i manage with them and i have a very good experience so far. Timely and courteous responses, not that costly. They've been very helpful with the transitioning from old provider. You're in good hands with them.
I had nothing but problem after problem after problem with them. And guess what? No resolutions. When I finally gave up and cancelled, oh, NO REFUND either.
