I'm currently traveling through Seattle and I had stayed at this hostel once before so I decided to give it another try. I use my U.S. passport as my I.D. and it wasn't a problem the first time I stayed there, but this time they had a whole cow about it. My stay was just for one night, but the lady at the front desk became visibly nervous about having me there. She made a point of reading the rules to me as if I was some sort of illiterate vagabond. The best part of the hostel is that it is close to train station and near China town but at the same time there are a number of homeless around the area. The common area and kitchen is large and well equipped , very nice. The bathroom with hot water and it's clean. While for the room I stayed this time, it's very small and no air conditioning, and the window is next to sb's bed, so you may have to communicate with your roomate if you want to have some fresh air in the room.
