I lived in an SRO for four years when I was in my early 20s but had never stayed in a hostel….until I found myself balking at the prices of hotels (I was going to a convention and thought booking last minute would get me a great deal and… ok mistakes were made!) I was a bit apprehensive until I walked up to the front desk to check in - the staff were SO friendly and professional. I felt completely at ease and not out of place. Good place
Overall I enjoyed my stay here. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable, good amount of space in the lockers as well. Large common areas and lots of info of events happening in the city plus daily events with the hostel. There’s a parking lot right across the street as well that was super handy. Would recommend!
Really good hostel. The guy at the check in desk was really lovely and waited for me when my train was delayed. The lounge areas are nice and the kitchen area is large and clean. There are also laundry facilities with detergent, and lockers you can rent for $3 to store your bags when you check out (that come with a lock). The breakfast was bagels, toast porridge and fruit.
