Waited 6 hours just to be told I am pregnant. Which I already knew… I came in to get a referral to an OB/GYN to determine if my pregnancy is ectopic or not (due to a failed abortion), only to be told by the emergency doctor that it wasn’t her milieu of expertise. I also experienced a lot of dismissive remarks, such as a male doctor laughing and asking if “I found out I’m pregnant through a pharmacy-bought test” and was heavily questioned by the second doctor on if it was “really a gynaecologist” who performed the abortion. Came here from Ontario as I was staying in Quebec waiting to go for vacation the next day. Eye had random swelling and throbbing. They had no issue speaking English which was my biggest fear. The wait time was about as it would be any other hospital (faster than the hospital i usually go to actually). I see a lot of negative and neutral reviews to do with treatment and neglection but I had no issue here.
