I am a patient with them, idy is my nurse. I am so Thankful for them. She takes time every single time to listen to me, ive bden on hospice over 6 month and ive have every emotion which has bden dealt with love and grace. I would recommend them to anyone. Shd turns her patients into better people she is a beautivul butterfly And she flys around in beauty hdlping her patients.
Our first meeting with Maria has been outstanding and every day since. She is so compassionate and caring when bathing her patients. She gets to know her patient's families and always has a smile on her face. We look forward to seeing her again soon.
I have been on hospice for 1 and 1/2 years and I have been taken very good care of. All the way from the CNA Maria Torres who goes the extra mile the extra mile on preparing need for the day, to the nurse practitioner Idy who takes care of all my medications and scheduled any special needs I need, to the social worker Miss Julie you always comes by it makes me comfortable with her sweet words, do Pastor Darrell who always makes it a point to come by and pray with me, and of course the director Lillian who always takes my cal... read more
My Mom’s first day with Gentiva could not have been WORSE. The only thing they were good at was paperwork. We arrived to the hospice room from the hospital in a good mood but there were no supplies and the pain meds were not yet arranged for. I spent a couple hours doing paperwork before the nurse got around to ordering meds. I spent the next four hours listening to my Mom cry in pain and still the meds have not arrived. Phone calls to Gentiva get sympathy but no action. If I could rate negative stars it would be -10.
Very unprofessional and rude behavior by Lillian who answered the phone, otherwise good caring people.
