What a great group of caregivers, not only for our patients and their families, but for each other as well! Then my dad needed their services as he approached the end of his life. As a volunteer for hospice, I have observed such caring and compassion in all the staff does. They truly are passionate about serving the needs of their hospice patients and their families and will do everything in their ability to carry out each patient’s wishes.
My brother-in-law passed away on January 14, 2024. We could not be with him because of weather conditions. It was so very comforting to learn that his hospice nurse was with him.
I have been volunteering for Hospice of Washington County for many years. Some of my experiences include visiting patients, providing meals, helping with fundraisers and serving on the board.
