My dad fell just 4 hours from getting there. I was called to let me know that he had fallen. I asked if he could have an X-ray. They told me that they didn’t do x-rays. They told my dad’s Hospice nurse that they called me to ask if I wanted an X ray and that I said no! First of all, I never got that call! I went there and took him to the hospital in the town we live in. He had a hip fracture! Then surgery! Again, I am so disappointed that they couldn’t have the decency to tell the truth!!!
My dad went there last Monday. He arrived at the Hospice house around 3:30. At 7:30 he had a fall. The nurse called me to let me know he had fallen. I was told he was having pain in his right hip. Tuesday I called several times to check on him. The nurse told me he was still in pain. I asked her if they could get a x-Ray. I was told that they didn’t do x-rays.
