My family was blessed to have Hospice of Garrett County care for my Pap, Granny, and uncles during their transition. Their staff are truly angels on Earth. Death is the most natural part of life, hospice helps make that transition with love in every step, giving holistic care and making sure suffering is minimized. They are with their patients the whole way, giving dignity and comfort. They truly care, and support the whole family. I will forever be grateful for this organization. This place is a Godsend! They have been there for a few of my family members passing and they couldn’t have been better. They walk you through everything and they are there when it’s over too. They taught us so much and were so kind. You definitely have to get the person you are comfortable and click with but I couldn’t recommend this place more.

I am in process to revoke his parents as POA. I should be able to move him back home with us. My husband had hospice a month ago however was disappointed and release hospice to get better care at hospital and than ended back on hospice care. I wish there was more options that could handle his medical condition properly and give him much needed comfort care.... read more
