I just want to say that this service is like no other. We here in Cincinnati are lucky. Not every city or every state has a hospice facility. 2 nurses at blue ash specifically Abigail and Jordan were the best, most caring people I've ever encountered. Ty for all you do. We love you in my family. Keep doing what you do.
Everything went well and mostly nice then Nurse Ratched arrived.
Hospice Of Cincinnati have some of the most caring, compassionate people working there that I have ever met. I'm tearing up as I write this post, but I must let everyone know how great this establishment really is. My Nana, who was transferred from the hospital to HOC back in November of last year, passed away of the age of 101. My family's experience with Hospice of Cincinnati home hospice and respite care (Blue Ash) was terrible, with one exception. The home hospice aides were wonderful. However, the home hospice nurses and social worker were not helpful or compassionate, and the staff at Blue Ash inpatient were the worst; I would not leave my dog there and wish I had known so my dad wouldn't have had to suffer there for 5 days. After your loved one dies, hospice offers grief groups, if you can wait 2 months.
