I had heard such great things about this hospice from lovely fellow coworkers who entered end of life care here and we were all able to go visit. But, with the most recent passing of my adoptive grandmother, Adele Switzer (Holotuk), I did not have a very warm and welcoming experience. My Dad is very sick yes. But he did NOT want to go to hospice. And I told him if he made it through the night. I would make sure he went back to the hospital. Where he could be hooked up to his medication & deal with the specialist. So the Dr at hospice said, he could die more comfortable at hospice. But he wants treatment, he doesn't want to die.
