Such compassion was shown to my uncle during the last few days of his life. The facility is beautiful, and the care provided by the staff and Dr. Andrews was exceptional. My uncle said that moving there felt like being in heaven, and we are deeply touched by the thoughtfulness and kindness shown through his hospice care. The Hospice Care Ottawa, Ruddy Shenkman was truly amazing, and our family is forever grateful for the comfort, dignity, and support the provided during such a difficult time.

Beautiful facility and amazing staff and volunteers.
The building is beautiful, the staff are horrendous. Stella, a nurse, tried to shame us for living far away from the resident we were coming to visit. One of the nurses couldn’t locate a box of kleenex when we ran out of the them in the room… in a hospice. The volunteers are so incredibly rude and are as equally incompetent. Muriel at the front desk shouldn’t be allowed to speak to anyone, let alone anyone going through some of the most difficult experiences of their lives. My husband had the best care after we could no longer do it at home. The surroundings are beautiful and ALL the staff/Volunteers were exceptional. They were there because it just wasn’t a job, but a sincere desire to ease the end of life transition for patients and family. From my ♥️ to yours…Thank you.
