Found out after trying to book an appointment that my chart was deactivated because I hadn’t been in for two years. No email. No phone call. No letter. Just a “policy” they apparently advertise on posters in their office and on their online portal. No one I know goes for yearly physicals and like most people, I don’t spend my free time browsing clinic portals. Now I’m left without a family doctor during a time when family doctor are rare.
Dr. Hosford and her replacement doctor Dr. Chi are fabulous. Great for woman’s health and taking it seriously and expeditiously. The reception staff on the other hand, leave something to be desired. Can’t be bothered to get up from their chair and prefer to yell at you from across the room when checking in. All wear masks and don’t bother looking at you so you don’t know who is talking to you. I'm sad that I even have to write this. I firmly believe that someone in reception should take care of the persons needs on the other end. This reception staff is incredibly judgemental and unprofessional. I have had to profess my phone calls with "I'm sorry to be annoying", "I know I have called before" - I should not have to do this, but because I felt I was a burden when calling I had to open the call with this.
