I recently bought my flat through Horton and Garton and the service was excellent from start to finish. Stuart was always quick to respond, patient while I worked through the various stages of the process, and kept me clearly updated throughout. He struck a great balance between being proactive and never pushy, which I really valued. Thanks to his communication and support, the whole experience felt much smoother than I expected. We had a great experience with Stuart and Louise. They were helpful at every step of the process, from suggesting places exactly matching what we were looking for all the way through to completion. I feel deceived by this agency, and I am convinced the landlord has been deceived too. During our tenancy at Acton, we were exemplary tenants — we paid on time, kept the property in excellent condition, and even facilitated viewings during our final weeks. When renewal came, the agency claimed the house was worth £4,500/month (we were paying £4,000), despite clear market evidence that better properties in the area were available for less.
