Went here for the 1st time with my parents on Thursday October 2nd 2025. This is located in the Horry County Courthouse in Conway. the courthouse functions are to the right, and to the left was the assesors office, where we can pay property taxes, which in SC, includes our cars. We were here to pay a tax on our new vehicles before heading to the DMV to get our licenses. Oh my gosh! The ladies in the front office were so friendly and extremely helpful. I've never had such a positive experience at any government agency in my 67+ years. Claudine was outstanding. Thank you!
Amy Calder shouldn't be in the office, over 2 weeks calling and leaving voice mails with no response. Eventually she popped up screaming "DO YOU WANT TO HEAR THE ANSWER??" like I haven't tried to contact her for weeks to get it and "YOU NEED TO STOP!" when I asked how long it will take to respond to my email. When I asked to talk to Director - she hang up and blocked my number from the line. Attaching screenshots of my 5 calls is not allowed, but I have them handy.
