I have to say that my husband and I are very pleased with this doctor. He is professional and did a great job on my husband’s surgery. I was worried after reading some of his reviews but we only had an excellent experience with him. He had a great bedside manner and explained everything with detail. We never felt rushed and he answered all our questions. His staff was friendly, compassionate and kind. Thank you for everything!
I had the same experience he says I have 3 hernia that reflexed in my CT SCAN but, no surgery needed, I'm in a lot of pain and got a lump in my upper stomach he said is 'fatty' he recommended me to get a referral from my primary see pain management. I'm looking for a second opinion. Thank you for your comment. All my visit were less than 5 minutes.....
Village Surgical Associates boasts on their home page that "you are important to them," "they treat people, not just illness, You are in good hands," "excellent patient care and communication is one of our 5 cornerstones of outstanding pt satisfaction." Dr. Horowitz does not reflect these words in his treatment of patients. He is arrogant, rude, and apparently annoyed by elderly patients. I was referred to Dr Horowitz for a hernia repair. He saw me for about 5 minutes and felt around my stomach and said no hernia must be a pulled muscle, without running any kinds of tests or scans, even with me asking for one. His response was i have been doing this for a long time, I would be able to feel it. He then released me back to work with no restrictions. I then had a scan done a couple months later for a different reason and they told me I had a hernia.
