After suffering multiple outages due to blown fuse wires that was swiftly resolved by Hornsby Electric, I decided to completely overhaul the electricity supply setup and upgrade the switchboard. After requesting a service from Hornsby Electric to replace a single outdoor light with another one I provided, I was never provided with a quote for the job. My job was booked and I assumed that I would be charged standard market rate. I was eventually charged $350 for a job that took exactly 10 minutes. Had I been made aware of the estimated cost, I would have used another electrician... This is totally on me: I now know I absolutely need to ask for a quote, even for the simplest possible jobs.
Could not recommend highly enough. Made a stressful situation calm and were honest and efficient.
