After requesting a service from Hornsby Electric to replace a single outdoor light with another one I provided, I was never provided with a quote for the job. My job was booked and I assumed that I would be charged standard market rate. I was eventually charged $350 for a job that took exactly 10 minutes. Had I been made aware of the estimated cost, I would have used another electrician... This is totally on me: I now know I absolutely need to ask for a quote, even for the simplest possible jobs.
Could not recommend highly enough. Made a stressful situation calm and were honest and efficient.

I contacted Hornsby electric a month or so ago, and after more than a week after contacting them, I finally got a reply, it was Cassandra the owner who replied in saying that it looks as though the bearings aren't working that well and that the standing fan needs to be replaced, to which I replied in asking if, just to be certain, which as a customer I am completely entitled to ask, which many a person in my situation would likely often ask, is if she or whoever it is that's part of the team could come in to just see what's ... read more
