Welcome to Hornbeck Boats. We design, build and sell double-paddle ultralight custom pack canoes. Our boats are ideal for a wide range of paddling, whether pond-hopping in the Adirondack wilderness, river-tripping in the wilds of Maine, cruising the Boundary Waters of the Midwest or exploring the swamps of the South. You can enjoy the lightness of our boats as you portage to a motor-less lake or simply carry from your car to a favorite pond.

Great place, we have been over a few times and purchased 2 boats so far, with a third coming in 2025. Andie is fantastic he is a wealth of knowledge. Thank you!!. I can't say enough about the durability and construction of a Hornbeck boat. The versatility of these boats is really cool. Our English Shepard kayaks with us. He fits comfortably in the boat with room to lie down. Can't say enough good about this group.
Best canoes, period, based on over 60 years of canoing back country, open water, and flowing water. Service is top notch with very pleasant and helpful staff.
Knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff. They were able (and happy) to walk me through all aspects of their boats and to make sure I had all the information needed to make the proper choices for my new canoe. The on-water demo with true experts is absolutely invaluable! A terrific experience all around. With their guidance, I chose a 12ft Classic with the Rowing / Fishing Package...awesome boat!!
