If you are looking for an exceptional backcountry camping and sea kayaking experience, look no further! Horizons Adventures provided my friends and I with a wonderful trip out to the Benjamin Islands, North Channel. The paddling was great, our guides were fantastic, and the scenery - unbelievable. Highly recommend!
An amazing adventure paddling along the coast of Lake Superior Provincial Park. Rick and PJ were excellent guides. This was an unforgettable journey.
We did the Benjamin Islands and the North Channel trip for beginners. Our guides, PJ and Michaela, were excellent. PJ prepared very tasty meals with an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables. Both guides were very attentive to us regarding our individual comfort levels on the water. I highly recommend Horizon Adventures for kayaking trips!
I had a wonderful experience taking the wilderness first aid course with Rick as my instructor. I was supposed to take the course in May, however I had to cancel last minute. He was very accommodating and worked with me to figure out when I was able to attend. The course itself has a lot very useful information and I’m very glad I took it. It was very interactive and hands-on and I definitely learned a lot from it. He made the course a lot of fun and I would 100% take the course with Rick again.
