So we booked a condo on *********** and emailed right after booking asking about extra charges and how check in process worked. They told us everything except itd require a $500 deposit. 7 days before our trip we were emailed about having to have the $500 deposit. It was past our cancellation time now. What they list on the amenities list on the booking is a lie, They dont have half the items. We were in the middle of our vacation and they called at 9 am and said we needed to be back at 11 am to let an inspector in. We were ... read more

Horizon's business practices are not good. We signed up for them to collect and handle our monthly taxes. They have not done anything to help with the subsequent audit, and penalties are accruing. No one from the staff returns my calls. Bookings have been very poor the last three months of our contract. It was a very disappointing spring break when it should have been good. I would not recommend Horizon to anyone!

I have been trying to figure out how and where to leave a review. I feel it is so important to let everyone know about this management company. My family and I had to book a last minute trip do to my husbands grandfather being diagnosed with lung cancer. I have 4 grandkids (his great, great grandchildren) who he hadn't met yet..we just decided it was time to go. My daughter had rented through VRBO before so she decided to go with that. Three weeks ago we stayed at a property through **** owned by Horizon Vacation Homes. Upon arrival the place was incredibly dirty, the carpets, baseboards etc were awful. Our friends joined us two days into our vacation and they instantly commented on the filth. We stayed at the parks everyday, all day and ate our meals out. We have been home from our trip for three weeks and I reviewed the property on ****, saying it was so dirty.
