I had Cataract Surgery by Dr Kearney and it turned out terrible. For some reason I was given a face massage after the surgery. This caused internal bleeding leading to a very bloodshot eye and extreme pain which landed me in Hospital overnight. I would not recommend anyone going to Horizon for cataract surgery. Terrible experience 🧐
Did a relatively good cataract surgery . Was very sore but got better in a day. Can see quite well now.
Did a relatively good cataract surgery but as soon as surgery was done I felt abandoned. When the anaesthetic wore off the pain was really intense and wasn't able to contact anyone for effective pain killers. Eventually the next day I got panadein fort from my own GP. The post Op appointment was for the same day and I rang to see if I needed to come for it considering my GP told me I was normal in the reaction. I went for a check up after being advised to see a specialist. If you want to feel like a number, and in cattle class. It was so busy. I under went eye torture, the anesthetic they used so she could use the telescope hurt alot. After numerous test from other physicians that assist her. They were nice and caring, I got to meet her, there was no explanation of her findings. She probably spoke to me for less then 5 minutes. I am very grateful to Dr Kearney and her team for the return of my vision. I underwent cataract surgery in both eyes this year which was an incredibly positive experience. All staff at Horizon Eye Centre are respectful, kind, and professional.
