The installation was not done properly. After 5 months we are now left with water damage to our dining room that they are not willing or able to pay for. Make sure you have the work checked.
We had Horion PWR add a Homegrid battery, a SPAN smart panel along with a new Sol Ark inverter to our existing solar system and I'm here to tell you it's nothing short of amazing! We've lost power from Rocky Mountain several times since it was installed and we didn't even know it. The battery system automatically kicked in and powered the entire house. Finally got my first bill for the winter following installation in November, the first season that was supposed to "pay for itself" per the sales representative. If anything cost has gone far above anything I was paying for previously, as now in addition to the $200 electric bill ($350~ per month by the end of March) I'm also paying the cost of the panels at $288 per month, so the $30-40 per month the system saved me over the summer is relatively nothing. I had a system installed by this company back in 2020. They were great salesman! Helped with the process, got it all installed. Great!!! That is where it ends. In 2021 we did not produced power for 3 months, during the summer. We should have been banking power, but we did not and they did not reimburse us. Since then I have been fighting them to try and get 5 panels that are not producing half of the rest of the panels, replaced. They have come out. They have said they are going to work in getting them out to test, nothing. ... read more
