I was in the process of switching psychiatrists and going to a different organization as I wasn’t happy with my care here and I was running out of my medications and was out of refills. My refill request got denied and I called to ask for a few days of a supply as I was going to a new provider in a few days and they mentioned that I was “probably denied due to outstanding bill” they then said they would talk to the provider and call me back. I live with severe mental illness and yet I'm high functioning. I have been seeing psychiatric providers since I was 14 years old (I'm 43 now). I've had a handful that I liked at CentraCare, but, they either quit or moved to a different position. I decided to try Horizon. I see Jean. She's great. I have a say in my treatment and what medication I want to be on. I need that in a provider- to treat me like I'm and adult and trust that I know what is best for me.. Absolutely horrible. I’m so glad I left. Since people go there for mental health, let me just say. They don’t care anything about your mental health. They care you make them money. That’s literally it. They move you in and out in like a production mill and pretend to care until they have to actually show empathy or anything close while refusing to make things right. If you are 7 minutes late they refuse you and charge you 120 dollars, but they will make you wait as long as they need. They don’t send bills but are happy to ch... read more

WAS GOING TO BE A FIRST TIME PATIENT..MY SON CALLED AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT..TOOK ABOUT ONE MONTH TO GO... STARTED HEADING TO THE APPOINTMENT AND THE G.P.S TOOK HIM TO THE WRONG BUILDING.. HE CALLED TO SAY HE WOULD POSSIBLY BE A LITTLE LATE.. THEY SAID THATS OK... SHOWED UP LITERALLY THREE MINUTES LATE.. WENT UP TO THE FRONT DESK AND THEY SAID WE'RE SORRY...WE HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT AND YOU OWE US $125.00 DOLLAR CANCELLATION/ RESCHEDULE FEE... Had my first appointment here in hopes to get back on medication after a few months, unfortunately on Google maps the link to the address I received brought me to nystrom and associates for some reason. I ended up being 9 minutes late to my appointment and the lady at the counter happily turned me away and charged me 120 dollars because THEY sent me the wrong link. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
