Assumptive, prejudiced staff... mishandled a complex and sensitive situation, tacitly sided with documented, investigated abusers through condescending and uncritical means. From the dangerous med changes to trying to assert I went off my meds to looking at everything through a reductive, patriarchal lens. The psych nurse practitioner, secretary, director respectively. Adam, Linda, Tyra. They're not monsters, there are bright spots. But to anyone reading, I would somewhat strongly recommend avoiding here.
They just hung up on me
The staff was there for me during hardship. They helped me get through a time of my life when no one else could be there fore and handle crisis professionally. So thankful for Horizon House and their commitment to serve the community! Definitely recommend for people to come here and consult with the program/they are very respectable. And they are always there for us.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! I've been here 5 different times and all of the times were helpful and respectful! The staff here are very supportive and they are very understanding with your crisis. The nurse and psychiatrist listens to you and support you too! I believe the staff and nurse deserves a raise. The food here is good and you can be for sure you will never be hungry!
