👎 I have been told by a trusted friend for years how wonderful Horizon was. I finally made an appointment during an extremely traumatic time in my life recently. I was really disappointed with my experience at this location. I willingly began my intake process during the middle of a domestic crisis and kept missing my appointments because of the CRISIS at home. This facility has been extremely harmful to my brother’s mental health care. After being released from CPAP, he came here seeking outpatient support. His appointment was scheduled for 8:30 a.m., but he was left waiting until 9:45. During that time, they collected his copay. When he asked about the delay, he was told his appointment had been pushed back to 10:45. After waiting nearly two hours without being seen, he ultimately left. If you're looking for some help related to Dissociative Identity Disorder, don't go here. They use very outdated terms (referring to headmates/alters as "parts" its dehumanizing) and they will also try to explain to YOU what your experience was with something, when you've told them the way it was. (For example, ranted about a doctor emphasizing specific words with me to be nasty, and I said this to rant and was told by a therapist that he was probably just explaining things to me) no...?
