The Horizon Health EMS Ambulance service is a big step down from the ambulance services previously afforded Edgar County residents by the Edgar County Special Service Area Ambulance. I have had to place a call for an ambulance twice since Horizon Health EMS has taken over and both times I have been grossly unimpressed. It is not their medical qualifications I call into question here; but, rather their entire approach and attitude towards responding to that call.
